Winter Guard is an indoor color guard activity that stems from the summer and fall marching band season. Rather than perform outdoors on a football field, Winter Guard takes place indoors in a gym. Winter Guard performs to music using dance and employs various pieces of equipment including flags, rifles, and sabres. HSE High School's Winter Guard is sanctioned by the Indiana High School Color Guard Association (IHSCGA) and Winter Guard International (WGI).

4. Extra-curricular band activity fee payments can be made by:

   • Check payable to Royal Guardians placed in metal lockbox in the band room.

   • Credit Card payment accepted on the Pay Fees page under the Parents tab.

ALTERNATIVE PE CREDIT

Students who participate in a winter sport and would like to earn a one-time Physical Education credit can apply to the Alternative PE Program.
