What is Scrip?
Scrip is a nationwide fundraising organization that offers members the ability to purchase gift cards for America’s most popular retailers through Great Lakes Scrip Center® (GLSC) and use them for their everyday purchases. A percentage of each gift card value is credited in the form of a rebate back to the our organization; the band passes most of the savings directly to families through reduced fees.
Getting Started
With over 300 participating companies, including the country’s biggest brands in grocery, department stores, gas stations, restaurants, hotels and home improvement, GLSC has something to appeal to every family. If you're going to shop anyway, why not earn some money towards your band fees?

Send an e-mail to the Scrip Coordinator
Email the Royal Guardians’ Scrip Coordinator at scrip@hsehsbands.com with your name and the name of your band student. Once your involvement in the program can be verified, the Scrip coordinators can then provide you with the enrollment code. This step is required to protect the band account.
REGISTER: Once you receive the enrollment code, register by visiting shopwithscrip.com and clicking “Join A Program”. You will be prompted to enter the band enrollment code that was provided via e-mail. You will specify your student's name to ensure fee reductions are properly credited.
ORDER PLASTIC CARDS: Once you register, check out the participating companies and place an order for plastic cards. You will need to pay for your order with cash or check prior to receiving your cards. Orders for plastic cards are placed about once a month to save on delivery fees. It takes about a 3-5 business days for the cards to be ready for delivery. The Scrip coordinator will contact you when the cards are ready. The availability of so many e-cards reduces the need to order plastic cards more often.
PRESTO-PAY: If you would like to have more flexibility to order and receive on demand (in many cases), you will need to enroll in PrestoPay. This YouTube video might help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TUlPlZdOmA. Enrollment in PrestoPay will allow you to buy e-cards called ScripNow!. It is safe and secure to connect your checking account to your Scrip account: https://shop.shopwithscrip.com/Support/ordering-scrip-for-families/prestopay-the-easiest-fastest-way-to-pay. Future Scrip orders of e-cards will then require a 4 digit PIN to pay using PrestoPay. You may continue to pay for plastic cards with a check or choose PrestoPay.
E-CARDS: Once enrolled in PrestoPay, you can now order ScripNow! e-cards at any time and redeem them using the mobile app or through printing at home. For online ordering and redemption of an e-card, you can simply copy and paste the e-card number when checking out.
RELOADABLE CARDS: A note about reloadable cards - you must first purchase a reloadable plastic card from shopwithscrip (e.g. Meijer) but can reload any time. Some vendors require overnight processing and others reload immediately. Walmart reloads immediately while Mejier requires overnight processing. Each vendor varies.
PAYOUT: The Scrip coordinator creates reports each month that provides the Student Accounts coordinator with specific fee reduction amounts for each student.
